Are you in to scrapbooking? Do do you own a Cricut cutter? Are you bored with the same old shapes that you have been using forever? If this is you, there is help. Many stores and online shopping sites have Cricut cartridges for sale. You don’t have to use the same birthday cake or snowflake every time. There are so many choices to choose from.
Do you scrapbook for your child’s or children’s birthdays? There is a cartridge for that. Do you have a scrapbook for every holiday? There is a cartridge for that. How about family vacations, religious events, graduation, sports… yep there are cartridges for those too. If this is sounding more and more like an iPhone commercial, it should. It seems that there is a Cricut Cartridge for every occasion that anyone can think of, and if you do think of one that is not in existence, say so and then keep your eye out for it.
Cricut Cartridge sets run anywhere from $20 to $100. They can be found on the Home Shopping Network, Michael’s, Wal-Mart, etc. There are always sales, so keep your eye out for those so you don’t over spend. Also remember that you do not have to just use your Cricut cartridges cut outs just for scrapbooking. You can make picture frames, wall art, decorate your child’s room, and so much more.
Some of the most popular cartridges are the beach life cartridge, sports cartridge, holidays cartridge, and the critter cartridge. For the beach life one would be looking to scrap about a tropical get away, make cards for a lulu barbeque, or just any summer vacation. Sports are just that. One could create a background for a display case, remember the big games in a scrapbook, invitations to the big game, you name it and it can be done. Holidays range from 4th of July to Cinco de Mayo. St. Patty’s day is there as well. Christian holidays, Jewish holidays, basically any time that you may take a picture, you are covered. Finally one of the newest cartridges is the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge. There are hippos, monkeys, lions, tigers and bears OH MY! This cartridge would be great for a trip to the zoo, or capturing the moment of your child leading role in the Jungle Book. I have even heard of people making their own creative version of Old McDonald’s Farm. Again you are only restricted by your own creativeness.
Buying new Cricut Cartridges keeps your scrapbooking, card making and many more activities fun and new. There is no need to become board with your Cricut cutter. However again be careful and shop around. Just by googling Cricut Beach cartridge I was able to find it in 3 locations and all had a different price, but if I could wait for it to be shipped, it was $40 cheaper. So do not get board with your Cricut Cutter, simply decide what your next project will be and get yourself new Cricut Cartridges.
